If At First You Don’t Succeed

Day Seventy Nine

I failed. I fell off the no sugar wagon after only three days and I couldn’t be more excited. I’m excited because this is exactly where I was with my addiction to pornography and the many failures to quit and walk away from it.

I know for certain that failure is a part of it.

My old fixed mindset would tell me that I obviously couldn’t do this because I failed so quickly but my growth mindset knows that everything is a learning curve. The fact that I failed in only a matter of days is great feedback.

I am addicted to sugar in the worst way and perhaps cold turkey won’t be the best way for me to pull myself away from it.

On Monday I’ll try again

Life with no sugar sucks

Day Seventy-Seven

I’m on day three of no sugar. I’ve been feeling lousy and to be fair, it’s not a total no sugar zone but definitely no snacks especially in the evening.

A friend of mine sent me a video detailing the impact that removing sugar from your diet for 14 days has on your body. It inspired me to give it a try, I may not go the full 14 days in one go but I will slowly keep adjusting my approach until I find something that works for me.

Taking it one day at a time

Regain focus

Day sixty seven

I’ve drifted from my personal work, the real work that I committed to doing this year. I need to refocus.

The great thing about setting goals and intentions is you’ll be able to immediately know when you are off track.

It’s time to get myself back on track
