Out with the old, in with the new
As spring rolls in, with it comes the opportunity to refresh our wardrobes, throwing out old clothes that we rarely, if ever wear, getting rid of things we have accumulated that are essentially useless and replacing it with new things
It’s always a worthwhile exercise to get rid of the old so that we can make way for the new
What do you think investing money is about?
Money like anything else should not be hoarded – you place it into other vehicles such as companies, houses so that you can keep everything circulating
The human body is the best example of this – the blood is constantly keep circulating around the body so it’s kept healthy, whatever you consume is eventually released as a means of keeping this miraculous machine functioning at optimum level
Your life shouldn’t be any different
Every so often you will need to let go of old things to make sure that you are keeping your life fresh and not allowing things to become stagnant
This ‘out with the old, in with the new’ attitude can be applied to every area of your life
Career/job – what’s new about what you are doing work wise in comparison to 6 months ago or even a year ago?
Friendships – is every person in your life worth your time? (I know how harsh that sounds but it’s still a question worth asking) – As the saying goes, show me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are
Relationships – same rule applies as above
Money – are you keeping your money circulating and fresh rather than allowing it to stagnate because you don’t know what to do with it or where to put it. Worse still, you have no old money to circulate around because you haven’t saved anything – don’t allow life to catch you out like that
Health – one of the most important aspects, are the habits you’ve picked up beneficial for your overall health?
Spring cleaning is about giving yourself a fresh new start
It’s always worth letting go of the old so you can make space and way for the new
Be well
