For a long time I was disengaged at work.
I work at a great company and the opportunities are endless there but somehow I allowed myself to become stagnant
Couple this with a lot of personal disappointments and I just couldn’t careless about work at the time
It’s been a long unintentional journey to come out on the other side and I think I’m finally doing just that
I’m finally getting involved again, slowly but surely
How about you?
How involved in the things you’re currently doing are you? May sound like a silly question but think about it
Are you on autopilot or are you manually working through whatever it is you’ve decided to accomplish
I think most of us are on autopilot most of the time, just finding a way to get by even when we clearly know we don’t want to do the things we are doing
But what I’m finding, again, slowly but surely is that the more involved I get in the things right in front of me the more I find I’m enjoying it
The more I enjoy what I’m doing, the more I want to do it, the more I want to do it the more of it I do….and so on and so on the upward cycle goes
Get involved, life is passing by anyway, why not be as hands on as you can while you’re here…
